hirozakari sake brewery
tokyo based practice tyrant kunihiko matsuba + n-llc has completed the 'hirozakari sake brewery' located in nakanojo, japan.
a series of existing buildings previously used as a brewery were retrofitted to accommodate the nakanojo biennale and display
bird hunting drums which were historically produced in the area. the steel structure office building, stone storage room and
wooden framed warehouse were preserved while ancillary constructions were demolished to provide spacious circulation
throughout the site.
