phase design: illuminate
phase design has commissioned a series of designers, including arik levy and claesson koivisto rune,
to create five unique wooden candlesticks. the illuminate collection features five distinct candleholders
that were all designed with the same brief and material palette consisting of a block of american
walnut and turned brass inserts to hold the candles. all the designs are hand made by phase design’s
woodworking workshop in vermont. the collection will be on exhibit at fitzsu, los angeles beginning
june 26th .
