music furniture for miniforms

verona-born industrial designer paolo cappello has developed 'torototela' and 'caixa', 
integrated speaker-furniture systems for italian company miniforms. the smaller of the two desks, 
'torototela' measures just 50 cm (20 in) wide and is meant to be a work surface for laptops or ipads in small, 
urban interiors. the station is compatible with any audio source that has an output jack.

Villa Veth is a modern, customized villa, a private residence for a family of four. It is situated on a large parcel of land by a forest near the idyllic town of Hattem in the eastern part of the Netherlands.

The customer. Carpenter. Someone who comes to us for personal confidence. Someone who does not seek an architecture that has seen or has lived before and where he felt the happiness of the visitor (Alvaro Siza “Living a House”). A customer for whom the house is only a floor and a ceiling. This abstraction is what motivates our project.

Designed by the folks at Dass Architecture, this little sucker has been moved around and plopped down in many a magical spot, always adding to the environment and proving you don’t need much to shield you from the elements you don’t want and allow you to commune with the ones you do.
