Struder House by bauzeit architekten

Situated on a gentle slope of the southern edge of Lake Biel, the new building has been designed on the old “romantic-style” garden in a nineteenth century villa. The remaining parts of it, an old Grota, a pond and trees have been retained and integrated into the stage of the new project. The project is organized on three levels, each floor with a distinct spacial character suitable for the specific program areas.

private dwelling in abiko, chiba prefecture, japan. conceived for a couple who collects 
furniture as a hobby, the design revolves around an open and brought living room that is
flexible for multiple configurations.

domus technica

the renzo piano foundation has named reggio emilia-based firm iotti + pavarani architetti as the
'best italian practice under 40'. the award, which was handed over earlier this week, 
stems from the recently completed 'domus technica', a project piano claims secured the first place prize. 

located in brescello, italy, the building acts as home to mechanical and industrial engineer immergas' 
center for advanced training. conceived as a laboratory, the design intends to create a flexible and responsive
environment that is shaped by both its function and its users.

The Big Yellow Rabbit

Florentijn Hofman created this totally cool larger than life sculpture of a yellow bunny which appears to have been dropped in the center of the town square in Orebro, Sweden. The Big Yellow Rabbit is a temporary 13 meter high sculpture. It's a enlarged cuddle toy made out of swedish products thrown against the statue of Engelbrekt. Via Design Don't Panic.
