Mendoza Lane House

The Mendoza Lane House was designed by Lanefab after the authorities in Vancouver encouraged owners to replace their garages with laneway houses in order to increase people density in certain neighborhoods

Le Loft Des Innocents

The outlook of this area turned really fast into a crazy challenge: design and achieve a shell-free space with – as reference marks- only half-burned out staircases -leading to the lower level-, a huge scaffolding structure used as a roof, and a 360° view over Paris.

Kindergarten Sighartstein

The kindergarten is integrated into the landscape like a chameleon (including a crèche) for 4 groups. Kadawittfeldarchitektur’s proposal for the building won the 1st prize in the public architecture competition in 2003. The project was realized between 2008 and 2009 with a budget of €1.2 million ($1.7 million).

Aufbahrungshalle Friedhof

Great use of hidden light sources to enhance the architectural appeal.

d house by panorama

Chilean architects Panorama have completed this compact cliff-top house in Matanzas, Chile. An enclosed terrace to the north provides an outdoor space sheltered from the wind. The first floor plan is rotated 45 degrees in relation to the ground floor, creating a double-height space over the kitchen/dining area.
