laurelhurst

‘Laurelhurst’ is a beautiful modern 2500-square foot residence designed by Jill Lewis and Lane Williams from Coop 15 Architecture and located in Seattle. According to the architects, this1960’s modern home has been expanded and updated with a new second story containing three bedrooms and two baths. The main floor plan has been opened up, with expanded living areas where bedrooms were once located. There is new lighting, plumbing fixtures, cabinets and finishes throughout. The redesign implied the maximization of space and light. A simple stroll through the pictures is enough to demonstrate that the interiors have plenty of both. This house looks fantastic, no matter what the perspective. The white walls contrast beautifully with a series of decorating elements and the overall result is that of a contemporary, vivid and original living space. lobot lamp

With its charismatic Wall-E eyes for lights, the Lobot is the cutest robotic lamp I’ve have seen. A body constructed out of anodized aluminum and “robust and well engineered hinge system”, this lamp can be maneuvered into different positions with gliding ease. I simply love its minimal design and its no-fuss attitude, looks as if it were made to banish all darkness surrounding your desk! I need to get this one.

slope desk

An occasional desk for the home. There are often many distractions when working at home and Slope is designed to counteract these. The angled top gives a more ergonomically correct working surface which aids your concentration helping you to finish your work as quickly as possible. The opening storage areas let you can hide away your work once finished, providing a physical barrier between work and home. Also the angled top also prevents clutter accumulating, forcing you to tidy away once a period of work is finished.
