wooden block panels

Canadian designer Olga Oreshyna has come up with a new way to contribute to save our planet.
She wants to make you home warm and comfortable with stylish handmade wooden blocks panels. All wood for this panels were already used before. For one, it’s a good contribution to green building. Rather than cutting down trees to get the needed wood, reusing wood is just as good if not better.
On the cutting and striping edge of recycled wood collection inhabits a space where time is material, where the gentle evolution of objects and forms is the concept and where erosion is the quality.
She uses only natural fragments of wood as a source of inspiration and perpetual wonder.
Explore her designer collection of decorative panels in which simple wooden blocks create sophisticated pattern and plays with contrasts.

HOUSE ARJB

This house was designed in 1969 by architect Herman Andriessen. A year after completion he past away. Now, the house has been restored by architect Arjaan De Feyter as an honour to the original architect. The whole building was stripped down, except for the steel structure, and then built up again. It reminds us of Villa Savoye and a ‘case study house’.
